I offer vocal lessons and coaching sessions to singers of all levels. I particularly welcome beginning singers. Believe me: if you can speak, you can sing!
My singing philosophy:
It’s something I’m convinced of - if you can talk, you can sing. If you can phonate (make sound using your vocal cords), then the rest can be learned. My goal when you enter my voice studio is to help you obtain the freest, strongest, and most efficient version of your unique voice.
I also realize that singing is not just a technical exercise, but an expressive one as well. I encourage singers to use their technical abilities to work in tandem with creating an engaging and emotionally dynamic performance.
Because these goals require both trust and vulnerability on the part of all individuals involved, I strive to make my studio a place of openness and acceptance toward all. You are welcome here!

I charge $30 for a 30 minute session, $40 for a 45 minute session, and $50 for a full hour. Beyond that, add $10 for every 15 minute increase.

Only if that’s your desired goal! While I do believe that classical training techniques benefit all voices regardless of the style of music, you are in charge of your voice and your sound. I’m also a firm believer that non-classical techniques (mix voice, belting) can be taught and done safely, giving your voice a wide range of tones and colors to draw from.

Not at all! While reading music is a helpful tool for any musician, it is not a requirement for vocal training. Of course, if that’s a skill you’re interested in cultivating, I’m happy to help.

Absolutely. I do believe that in-person lessons are the best way to achieve the fastest results; however Zoom lessons have become a useful adjunct teaching tool.
